It was pouring crazy rain when I made this first attempt at making a podcast with Garage Band. It's not as user friendly as you might think.

The intro voice is my son. He's a joker smiley

This mix is wholly inspired by a really neat guy. : )
Risks are taken with new records, like 90% new.

Mostly OM records. Miguel Migs - Check this out, Rithma, chuck love remix of learn to love yourself....Just amazing tunes. I need to get the credits for the artists. I'm sorry I don't have a complete playlist prepared, but I wanted to get the new episode up.

bipolar messenger mix - 50 mins - 46 MB - 128 kbps

This mix I made with ableton live 5.2, without headphone monitoring, very much on the fly..
I set up the interface so that it was like mixing with decks to enable me to perform the 'mixing' of the tracks at a party called 'bipolar' last year around halloween where I helped set up the chill room. I didn't actually record that performance, but I created this mix using the ableton project that was set up that for that party. I think my set at the party was much better, but you'll have to take my word for it. It was also about twice as long.

This is a very 'experimental' mix mainly because I need to work on getting my sample levels better mixed. But, I'm in the practice of not editing my mixes before I post them, for now.
Also, many of the tracks would probably fall in the experimental catagory, though almost all would qualify as electronic music. This is more the type of mixing I would do on the radio.

I can't believe I used to have this U2 single on vinyl! I gave it as a gift to my DJ mentor, D Thorn. *sigh* Well, good thing the wonders of the internet have made the recording available to me again.
I warn you, there are many explicit words in this recording. Casey Kasem has a potty mouth!

1. Negativland- I still haven't found what I am looking for - 5:48
2. CROSLEY BENDIX DISCUSSES THE U.S. COPYRIGHT ACT (25:56)
3. Negativland - Michael Jack 2:07 - just a little something I found on Limewire.

Winter brings out the DJ in me, what can I say. So much fun playing my living room for a friend of mine.
Lots of scratching again and some breaks at the end of the mix.

do not pay attention to the subliminal messages....
I'm not so good with track listings....I can tell you the first track is
Chuck Love - Beatdown on OM records.

My second turntable arrived UPS Thursday (thank you Mr. Peter Anthony). Yesterday I jumped on the decks for my first mixing in 5 or so years.
This is what came out. A few new tracks, a bunch of old ones.

It's rough, but I want to document this as a reference point.
